What 'properly rigged' actually means
Rigging is more than bolting an engine to a transom. Here's what our five-step process actually checks.
Rigging covers the transom height, control cable routing, battery and fuel line sizing, and the sea trial that catches anything a spec sheet can't.
We measure the transom before ordering the shaft length, not after — a half-inch out and the engine either cavitates or drags.
Every rig finishes with a sea trial, not a dockside check, because trim and prop pitch only really show themselves under load.
